Jon Paul joins Auctus Group’s restructuring and Advisory team
Auctus Group welcomes Mr. Jon Paul, Senior Managing Director, effective December 2015. Jon has over 35 years of experience in guiding entrepreneurs to achieve profitable growth in their business ventures. He has acted as a mentor, consultant, interim CFO and board member. Jon secured a sale to strategic and financial buyers within five ventures, across a variety of industries, at handsome multiples. He recently served as interim CFO for Brook Furniture and spent two years with the company, helping them take $3 million out of costs (over 5% of sales) and refinance their debt. He also helped a telecom firm become profitable, where the stock that went public at $17 rebounded from a low of $1.50 to be sold at $70 a share. Jon also worked with a disease state management firm and raised additional capital, leading to document savings, generated by a F500 customer. The client later sold to a private equity firm. Before starting his firm, Jon was CFO at a private equity backed pharmaceutical manufacturer that grew from $8 to $140 million, leading to a turnaround from near bankruptcy. After earning an MBA from Harvard Business School, he was VP Finance & Operations at a toy manufacturer, helping the company grow from $2 to $30 million in just 3 years. With Jon’s unique approach to finance, he supports clients in gaining new insights into their performance, finding ways to enhance margins, uncovering new strategic opportunities, and attracting more debt and/or equity funding.
